Grandmother, career painter
My number one teacher and supporter, Grandma has taught me from age zero to observe the world around me. She trained me to notice colors and light and shadows that don't immediately present themselves to the mind, and to view the world primarily as the ultimate work: the artistic Creation of the Christian God. Grandma is a PAFA graduate has taught in several capacities over many years, and displays her work in various galleries. Her lifetime of works is about to go on sale on Wix!
Joe Pentick
Grampa, career artist
Grampa Joe died Sunday, June 27, 2021, but his legacy of love for art and art education lives on in my life. He earned several art and art education degrees, and taught in many capacities over his lifetime. Some of my most precious childhood memories include exploring the studio he built in the blue barn on August Hill Lane- it was bursting with interesting smells, materials, books, and tools to discover. The biggest way he inspires me is the amount of different mediums he worked with in imaginative ways: photography, watercolor, acrylics, oil, collage, lithography, silkscreen, other printmaking, and sculpture.

Emily is the dear friend who gave me my first ever commission and encouraged me to pursue painting portraits of homes. She has pushed me to maintain professional standards and expanded my clientele while keeping up a steady stream of positive and constructive feedback. Perhaps best known for her role on House Hunters, Emily spends her time making dreams come true at Houwzer and glamping while others suffer.
